Choose the route that matches the question:

  • For one former local detainee or a release record, use the Hardin County release search and request path, then contact MCCC or Sheriff Records as appropriate.
  • For parole, probation, or another supervision question, consult Post-Release Supervision and call the relevant probation or ODRC office.
  • For people released most recently, check the 24-Hour Releases page and verify the feed against the jail or court record.
  • For a state prisoner, use the official ODRC offender search or write ODRC Central Records. A local jail roster does not prove a state-prison release.
  • For a federal or immigration custody event, use the official Bureau of Prisons or ICE locator and that agency's records process.
  • For a particular place, use the MCCC or ODRC institution page listed under Facilities below.
