Multi County Correctional Center Property Release

MCCC's published property rule creates a short deadline after release or transfer. The inmate must complete an MCCC Property Release form, and the collector must show photo identification. Property is held for only three days after the person leaves or transfers. It is destroyed after that period. A family member should check the rule promptly even when the exact court result is still being gathered.

Current inmates generally may release only keys or cards bearing the recipient's name. When a person transfers to prison, clothing and shoes may be released. These property rules do not show whether the person returned home or entered another institution. Use the discharge record for that fact.

All cash bonds for Hardin Municipal Court are paid at Kenton Police Department, 111 West Franklin Street. Kenton Police is a bond-payment point, not the adult jail. MCCC remains the place where the person is held and physically processed for release. The Marion online payment route shown by MCCC is for Marion Municipal Court and should not be used for a Hardin Municipal case.

The judge's actual bond order controls. Payment does not establish the door-out time because staff may still need to receive the order, verify payment, check other holds, and complete release work. Multi County Correctional Center Release Fees

MCCC says commissary funds left at release or transfer are applied to Pay-for-stay. Hardin Municipal Court separately lists a $45-per-day Pay to Stay Jail Fee. Neither page explains a particular person's balance, the calculation sequence, or an appeal or refund route. Ask the jail and clerk for the actual account detail rather than using a general posted figure as the answer for one case.

Records charges are also separate. MCCC publishes no general release-record fee. Hardin Common Pleas Clerk posts tiered copy fees for its own court documents, and Municipal Court lists its own charges. A court fee does not prove the jail's price. Where MCCC Releases Go

No official MCCC daily release time, exit door, waiting area, weekend or holiday sequence, ride service, or gate-money policy was found. Do not plan transportation from a court filing time. Call the status line about the actual event and ask whether a detainer or transfer affects departure.

No adult ODRC prison, federal prison, or ICE detention center was verified inside Hardin County. Marion Correctional Institution is nearby but is a separate state institution. No official evidence established an ICE contract at MCCC. If another authority takes custody, request the recorded destination and then use that agency's system.
